Nora Murphy JoHnson
I was born and raised in Keene, New Hampshire, near Mountain Monadnock, amongst lakes, streams, and a quaint New England downtown, a white church marking the heart of town, its steeple the highest point in town. My thinking and feeling is influenced by my losses, my hopes, my pain, my joy. I am a white American trying to wake up and stay awake so I can see, hear, feel, and know from my perspective and beyond so I can be an ally when called upon. I love being where the mountain and sea hold the last between them. Where the sky is blue and the earth is brown, orange, and pink, dotted with greens. I started this blog on February 16, the day my oldest son would have turned 13, the day my youngest son discovered one of the things he was born to do. I work as a weaver or truth, justice, and beauty.
